Description
WWII – Korean War US Naval Aviator Named Medal Wings Group. Group named to Lester F. Johnson who served in the US Navy from 1943-1966. Comes with copied information regarding LCDR Johnson released under the “Freedom of Information Act”. He received an Air Medal with (3) Gold Stars. His citations read for completing combat missions while the pilot of an Attack Bomber in Attack Squadron Sixty Five while attached to the USS Valley Forge, USS Philippine Seas and USS Box. You will receive (8) medals, name tag, US Navy patch, shoulder board, Asia bar, money clip, engraved named belt buckle, rank collar insignia (NS Meyer), wings (Vanguard), ribbons and ribbon bars. Nice condition for their ages. The display case does not come with this item.
